TOOFAR is an acronym for: Taxpayers Outraged Organization For Accountable Representation and it was adopted when the organization’s founders were fighting for a dam to be replaced on the Withlacoochee River. The Wysong Dam on the Withlacoochee River is a result of that successful fight.
